Private braai and fire pit

Every campsite has its own designated fire pit, perfect for a traditional braai and cosy evenings around the fire. Please bring your own braai wood.

Basic Electricity

Each campsite has access to basic electricity, giving you a few comforts while you enjoy life in the great outdoors.

Private ablutions

At every campsite, including a hot-water shower, washbasin and flush toilet. Outdoor washing-up basin with running water

As you arrive at Gonjah, you will find Campsites 1 and 2 on one side of the stream, with Campsites 3 and 4 situated on the opposite side. Surrounded by lush indigenous forest and the soothing sounds of flowing water, each campsite offers a peaceful escape into nature.

Important Campsite Information

Maximum of 2 vehicles per campsite.
Maximum 8 people per campsite.
Vehicle access: A high-clearance vehicle, such as a bakkie, or a 4×4 is required to reach the campsites. Standard vehicles can reach the chalet without difficulty.
No pets allowed: Gonjah is home to free-roaming buck and other wildlife, so pets are not permitted on the property.
